Terms & Conditions

Hands with Feeling provides services and operates this website subject to your acceptance of the following terms, conditions, policies, and notices. By accessing or using this website, booking or purchasing our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please, read them carefully before proceeding.     

1. ABOUT US

Hands with Feeling (we, our and us) is a company registered in England at the following address: Hurley Court, 215 Mitcham Road, London SW17 9DE.  To contact us, telephone our customer service at 078 303 676 25, email us  at info@handswithfeeling.com, or by using our website contact form.

These terms and conditions (our terms) form a legally binding agreement between you and Hands with Feeling (we, our and us) and apply to any service and purchase that you agree or order from us. â€‹

2. TREATMENTS & CANCELLATION POLICY

​

We reserve your appointment specifically for you and kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling:

•  If less than 24 hours’ notice is provided, or no notice at all, the full treatment fee will apply, unless we are able to reallocate your space to  another client.

•  You will receive a reminder the day before your appointment.

•  To make changes or cancel, please call or text us as soon as possible.

 

Late Arrivals

 

If you arrive late, your therapist will complete as much of the treatment as possible within the remaining time. The full treatment fee will still apply.

Health Conditions

 

If you are currently:

•  Undergoing medical treatment,

•  Taking medication, or

•  Having a health condition that is not controlled

 

Please consult your GP or specialist before booking an appointment. We may require that you obtain medical permission from your doctor to confirm that your health condition is stable and it is safe for you to receive the treatment.

 

​In circumstances where medical permission cannot be obtained, the clients must provide written informed consent prior to the treatment. Please, contact us directly via email or phone, if there is something you wish to discuss further with us.​​​​

3. PREPARING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT

​

When making a booking, please ensure the following:

•  Allow a minimum of 2m x 3m of clear floor space for the massage table and therapist to move freely.

•  Choose a quiet area where you will not be disturbed during your session.

•  Finish any personal or work-related tasks before the therapist’s arrival so you can fully relax.

•  Shower before the session, and remove any watches or jewellery.

•  Switch your phone to silent mode, if possible.

•  In colder months, please pre-heat the room to ensure comfort, or consider keeping a blanket nearby.

 

What We Provide

 

The therapist will provide all equipment needed for your session including a massage couch, towels and selection of massage waxes. All treatment times are approximate and include a consultation and aftercare advice.​

 

During the Treatment

 

Please communicate openly with your therapist. Let them know if:

•  You are uncomfortable with your position, or

•  You would prefer a different level of pressure

​After the Treatment

​

We recommend to rest and stay well hydrated to maximize the benefits of your treatment:

•  Drink plenty of water to help flush out toxins released during the massage and to aid muscle recovery. 

•  Avoid strenuous activities, heavy lifting, or intense workouts for at least 24 hours. 

•  Some soreness or tenderness can occur after a deep tissue, sports or clinical massage, consider a warm  bath or shower to further relax muscles, or a warm compress to increase blood flow.​​​

4. DATA PROTECTION

We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Notice. Please refer to it for more information on how we collect, store, and use your information.​​

5. GIFT VOUCHERS

​

By placing an order for a gift voucher or e-voucher, you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions. 

​

No contract for the sale of any gift voucher will exist between you and Hands with Feeling until we confirm acceptance of your order. Confirmation will be provided via email, WhatsApp, or text message, and will include:

•  Proof that payment has been received in full,

•  Details of the voucher purchased, and

•  Confirmation of your personal details.

You must check the confirmation carefully and notify us immediately if any details are incorrect. It is your responsibility to ensure that all information provided to Hands with Feeling when placing your order is accurate.

​

Once your order has been processed:

•  Gift vouchers will be issued and dispatched by Royal Mail, with a tracking reference number provided. Please, note that Hands with Feeling cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the postal system.

•  E-vouchers will be sent electronically once the transaction is completed, either to the purchaser or directly to the recipient (as specified).

Voucher Use

​

•  Gift vouchers and e-vouchers may be issued with a monetary value or a specific treatment service.

•  Vouchers may be used as full or part payment towards the cost of treatment.

•  The unique reference number must be provided at the time of booking.

•  Each voucher may only be redeemed once and is non-transferable.

•  The physical gift voucher or printed e-voucher must be presented to the therapist on the day of treatment.

Cancellations & No-Shows

​

•  If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, or fail to attend, the full treatment cost will be charged.

•  In such cases, the gift voucher or e-voucher will become void.

​​

Validity

​

•  All vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

•  Vouchers cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.

•  The only exception is if you exercise your statutory right to cancel within the 14-day cooling-off period (from the date and time of purchase).

​

Cancellations & Refunds

 

If you wish to cancel your order for a gift voucher or e-voucher (either before or after receiving it):

•  You must notify Hands with Feeling within the 14-day cancellation period by email, WhatsApp, or text message.

•  Your cancellation will be effective from the date you send your notice.

•  We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice.
